The crossings on a sailing ship include a long stay in open water and complete immersion in maritime practice. For the duration of the non-stop crossing, you will become a full-fledged member of the crew: you will learn how to steer the ship, set sails, climb the mast, work with tackle, plot a route using paper maps and much more. Also, the crew may need help with general ship work: set the table, tidy up the deck, remove or repair the sails. We recommend taking part in all activities - this contributes to team building.

Certainly. We schedule shifts so that each participant has enough time to rest. In your free time, you can enjoy the open space of the sea, read a book from the ship's library, chat with fellow sailors or delve into one of the topics of interest related to maritime affairs.

A non-stop transition from point A to point B does not imply intermediate stops.

Don't be afraid or embarrassed: symptoms of seasickness are not an indication of your fitness and are no reason not to go sailing. Most people experience seasickness symptoms, but they go away within the first few days at sea.
There are some simple ways to minimise seasickness: get plenty of sleep, get some fresh air and try to keep yourself busy. For instance, get behind the helm or learn a new nautical knot - work helps distract you better than any medication. Take some pills with you just in case, but be aware that they can cause drowsiness.

Some time before the start of the trip we'll create a chat room where all participants can get acquainted with the instructor and with each other. There we also give you all necessary logistical information, lists of recommended items and other useful materials.
