A classic Dutch sailing ship, Amazone was built in 1963 and served as a fishing vessel in the North Sea. In 1993 the ship was converted into a sailing ship and began to provide chartered voyages around the world.
Since 2021 Moretime Expeditions has been running regular voyages onboard the schooner Amazone in the Arctic and Antarctic. In cooperation with her crew we have undertaken 14 expeditions to Novaya Zemlya, 4 expeditions to Antarctica and a few training voyages from Russia to Latin America.
